There will be a $75.00 fee for performing return evaluations. If you choose not to have the requested work performed you will be assessed the $75.00 fee plus a $55.00 shipping and handling fee for returning the frame. If you elect to have work completed the evaluation fee will be waived.

 

Fill out the online Consumer RA form completely.

  1. Frame serial number can be found on the bottom of the frame's bottom bracket
  2. Frame model name is most often a decal located on the top tube of the frame
  3. Be sure to provide a current description of your frame (frame colors and decal colors)
  4. Be sure to provide a detailed description of the work being requested
  5. If you are requesting a refinish job, a refinish sheet detailing paint and decals must be included. This form can be found here: paint & refinish request form

 

A Serotta representative will call you to obtain payment information and issue an RA number

  A Return Authorization form with the Return Authorization number will be emailed or faxed back to you based on your preferred contact method

  Frame must be completely disassembled, we will only take frames and forks (You can take the frame to your local dealer or shop for disassembly and re-assembly. Charges will likely apply from shop for these services)

Tips for packaging

  1. Only masking tape is acceptable. All other tape is unacceptable and we can not be responsible for any damage incurred to frame if other tape is used
  2. Styrofoam peanuts are an unacceptable form of packaging

  Print or copy the Return Authorization form emailed or faxed back to you in step 3 and include inside the shipping box (Returns will not be processed without an RA number)

  Print the RA number on the outside of the shipping box

 

When the frame is received at the Serotta Competition Bicycles facility an evaluation will be performed within two business days.

Note: Steel frames sent back for repair or refinish will be test blasted to check for rust. If the frame is deemed unsafe or non-repairable the frame will be sent back to you. Please be aware that test blasting removes the paint from the frame, therefore the frame will be returned to you stripped of paint.

  A quote will be generated and faxed or emailed to you (according to your preferred contact method)

 

Once you have given written authorization by replying to the emailed quote or by returning the quote faxed signed and dated, we will provide an estimated ship date and begin work

Note:
Any frame held waiting for approval for greater than 30 days will be assessed a 10% increase to the quoted price

The quote will continue to increase by 10% for every 30 days we store the frame

After 90 days if there is no authorization to proceed with work the frame will be returned to you and assessed a shipping and handling fee of $100.00 plus the $75.00 evaluation fee

 

For international customers please consult your countries shipping regulations to for additional paperwork required for duty purposes. This WILL include original frame invoice.
